Scientific Anglers System 1 Fly Reel

 

 

The System™ 1 provides affordable performance. It is made of durable, dependable aluminum alloy that is perforated for lighter, easier handling.  The spool is counter-balanced for vibration-free runs.  It employs a double pawl click drag and sports a palming rim for added drag pressure.

The reel is polyurethane-coated for corrosion and abrasion resistance. An anodized reel foot adds corrosion resistance. No tools are needed to make an easy-change from right- to left-hand retrieve.

  Extra spools are inexpensive and quick-change for a second line.  Strong, durable entry level reels.
