Korkers Konvertible Wading Shoes with OmniTrax Technology are available at Traditional AnglerKorkers Outfitter Interchangeable Sole Wading Shoes (Sold Out)

Korkers Outfitter Wading ShoeThe amazing Korker Outfitter Wading Shoes with OmniTrax technology allows you to change the soles of your wading shoes to match the surrounding conditions.  Its like having several pairs of shoes with you at all times.  And, best of all, no tools are needed and the soles actually stay attached when you want them to be! (see below).  And, they are economical.  You don't have to buy new shoes when the soles wear out.

The interchangeable soles of the Korkers wading shoes are simple to switch.  Just slide the toe of the sole into the toe track, wiggling left to right until firmly secured. Align the Dual Lock™ of the sole with the Dual Lock™ on the boot mid-sole. Apply firm pressure with either your hand or by stepping down until the Dual Lock™ snaps securely together. Thread the heel strap through the heel ring and back down to attach the Velcro™. Done!.

Each pair of Korker wading shoes comes with the rubber lug Trail Sole, good for hiking to the stream or being in your drift boat, and a pair of plain felt soles for instream traction.

Sizing

All Korkers Shoes are generally sized according to your standard "street shoe" size (they used a 3mm wader as a benchmark to size all wading boots).

  • If your foot is extremely wide, or if you wear waders heavier than 3mm, or you wear heavy socks inside your waders, you should consider purchasing one size larger than your regular "street shoe" size.

  • If you wear half sizes, generally round up to the nearest whole shoe size.

  • Women should size their wading shoe as outlined above, then subtract one size.

  • Korkers Konvertible Wading boots are available in sizes: 5 through 14.

  • Replacement soles must match you shoe size for proper fit.

  • DO NOT WALK ON THE KONVERTIBLE BOOT WITHOUT A SOLE PROPERLY ATTACHED. Doing so will damage the Dual Lock™ system and will void the warranty

Reviews

Fly Rod & Reel Review of Korkers Konvertible Omnitrax Wading Shoe technology"Interchangeable-sole wading boots are all the rage right now, but I haven't seen a better approach to the problem than the one taken by Korkers in their new wading boot. Instead of screws or inserts that require tools, these soles slip into a recess in the toe of the boot, are held by a gripper pad on the arch, and secured with a hoop-and-loop strap at the back of the ankle. It's fast and ingenious, and you can choose from plain or studded felts, lug soles, studded rubber or soft soles for boat decks." Ted Leeson, Fly Rod & Reel

Wild on the Fly Review of Korkers Konvertible Omnitrax Wading Shoe technology"These wading boots, frankly, are pretty awesome, and their potential for the traveling angler is quite significant. . . The unique element of the boot system is the ability to change soles very easily and very quickly, without the use of any tools. An angler can go from standard wool felt, to felt with steel studs, to a Vibram hiker tread, to a soft. . . boat deck sole, and even to a heavy duty steel stud sole with no felt for the extreme conditions found on jetties, coral reefs and exceptionally fast-flowing rivers. It's like having five pairs of boots." Joseph E. Daniel, Wild on the Fly
