C and F Design Threader Fly Boxes available at Traditional AnglerThese innovative fly boxes permit anglers to store small flies and easily thread them onto fine tippets.  This is especially helpful to those of us who have weakening eyesight or for all under low light conditions.  Several flies (from 3 to 7 depending on size) can be preloaded onto the threaders.  Micro-slit foam inserts hold flies securely.  Threaders are color coded and available in two sizes.  To use the threaders:C&F Design Threader 5 Row Fly Box available at Traditional Angler

  • Insert threader wire from the top of the fly eye

  • Slide fly onto bottom of threader

  • Insert tippet into threader loop

  • Slide fly off the threader

  • Great for changing flies when they are uncomfortably small, when your fingers are numb and when the light is low.

  • Threader sizes are indicated by color decals.
